ProWashers Commercial Dishwasher

We’ve carefully selected the dishwasher brands we supply, we’ll be perfectly honest, there’s cheaper brands out there but we’ve given careful consideration to our machines and only supply the highest quality, reliable products on the market.

All of our dishwashers come equipped with easy to use controls, efficient detergent pumps that prevent over use and easy to clean internal filters that prevent blockages.

Q. What are the differences between our dishwashers?

All of our dishwashers are suitable for the most demanding commercial kitchens, all offer superb washing results each and every time, the difference really comes down to features and how often you’re going to be using them. For example for consistent usage throughout the day, we would recommend our Premium Range simply because the double skinned wash tank and insulated boiler can save up to £40 a week in energy costs (assuming it’s running all day).

Q. When should I choose ProWasher’s Standard Range Dishwashers?

Really there’s nothing ‘standard’ about these dishwashers, they’re industry leaders with cutting edge wash technology and superb performance on offer. These really are the power house of the catering industry, you’ll find them in both large and small commercial kitchens. They offer double skinned wash tanks meaning lower energy costs (less heat escapes) and quieter wash cycles too. They have fast cycle times of 3 minutes and offer superb cleaning performance.

They’re also engineered for low water usage, meaning they’re not only environmentally friendly but cheaper to run too! Equipped with the latest heavy duty wash pumps they tackle the most difficult dirty dishes and plates with relative ease.

Q. When should I choose ProWasher’s Premium Range Dishwashers?

Ah the ProWasher’s premium range, the feature of high end kitchens with the most demanding of washing requirements. With an energy saving potential of £40 a week assuming consistent use due to their superior insulated and double skinned boilers, wash tank these really are our most efficient machines.

Perhaps not necessary for smaller kitchens with more occasional usage, these dishwashers ofter ultra low water usage, low energy consumption, greater wash height and precise wash temperatures carefully controlled by our specialist built in thermostats.

Q. When should I choose ProWasher’s Economy Range Dishwashers?

Our ED50 dishwasher is the lowest priced dishwasher that we offer. If you’re only doing a couple of washes throughout the day, then this may be perfect for you. It offers consistent, fast and reliable washing results every time. It doesn’t offer some of the energy saving features of our Standard Range and Premium Range dishwashers but it makes up for it with it’s lower price.

Q. Water Softener – Do I need one?

Answer: Usually. Most parts of the UK have water that contains more than 100ppm (parts per million) of calcium carbonate aka. ‘Lime scale’. Over time this limescale can build up inside of a machine and cause inconsistent dish washing results or worse, it can build up and cause your machine not to work. If you’re certain that you have ‘soft water’ in your area then you won’t need one, if in doubt though, it’s always better to be cautious and get one.

Q. Drain pump – Do I need one?

Answer: It Depends On Your plumbing setup. A drain pump is only needed when your waste pipe is above your water input pipe. When this happens, gravity can’t drain your dishwasher meaning dirty water can’t escape at the end of a cycle, in which case a drain pump is needed. If you’re in doubt, you can arrange one of our qualified engineers to come take a look, usually free of charge.

Q. Installation – Do I need it?

Answer: Entirely your call. If you’re comfortable working with dishwashers or you have your own plumber/engineer to hand then whether you decide to use one of our friendly qualified engineers is completely your call, if you want peace of mind though, just ask and we’ll be more than happy to help!

Q. Break Tank – Should I get one?

Answer: We strongly recommend that you do. All water suppliers in the UK stipulate that a dishwasher should have a break tank. A break tank will stop water flowing backwards into the main water supply of the building.

Essentially, a break tank is a fillable water tank built into your machine, rather than the water going from your supply directly into the machine, it fills this tank first and is then the water gets pumped in. Not only does this prevent backflow but it can help deliver consistent washing results too, as the input pressure of the water is always the same regardless of whether someone else is using the water supply near by e.g for a sink.

Q. Parts Warranty – What does it mean?

Answer: Problems are rare but we cover manufacturing defects and component failure completely free. We offer a free ‘parts warranty’ for 1 year on all of our machines. You can get there full definition HERE but essentially we cover the replacement of any defective parts of the machine for 1 year after the purchase date. This covers things like manufacturing defects or component failure rather than replacing parts that have been damaged by customer usage.

Q. Dosing Pump – what is it?

A dosing pump is responsible for pulling the dish washer detergent into your dishwasher. Ours have been carefully designed to only use the optimum amount needed to complete a wash and get your dishes sparkling.

Q. Dish Washer Salts – What are they?

Dishwasher salts are what water softener use to remove minerals and other deposits from your water. Dishwashers come with a built in salt light that conveniently tells your when you need to top yours up.

Q I need a specialist to come take a look, can you help?

Definitely, our trained engineers have years of experience at kitting out commercial and industrial kitchens, we can send one around to your premises usually free of charge and they can assist you with your dishwasher requirements.
